First Look At Ford Speed Champions Sets

We’re still not sure if these sets will be showing up in Australia (they weren’t in the Australian catalogue) but we now have a first look at two of the 2016 Speed Champions sets featuring Ford vehicles.

The details come from a cute little video posted on twitter by the global Ford account. The included sets are 75871 Ford Mustang GT and 75875 Ford F-150 Raptor & Model A Hot Rod and according to the tweet they will be released on March 1st.

Update: As pointed out by Josh in the comments – these sets are actual featured in one of the LEGO catalogue. You can see them on page 69 here.

    First look….? These have been out in the lego catalog ages ago. How is this news?

      You are right – I didn’t realise that these were in the international catalogue that was released. After they didn’t appear in the Australian catalogue I forgot that they had already been seen elsewhere. There are no pictures on the LEGO site for these so I got the impression this was the first we’d seen of them.

    I’ve heard that the neww speed champion sets will be out in June. The Australian catalogue was for January-May which is why these sets didn’t make an appearance in them.

      Fingers crossed that’s why they weren’t in there. I’ve sent a message to LEGO about this so we will see if they respond.
