LEGO’s Latest Minifigure Series – German Soccer Players You Can’t Buy

Even if you aren’t a big fan of Disney characters it’s hard to deny that the Disney Collectible Minifigure series will have a broad appeal. Well the next range of minifigures that LEGO are bringing out have a much smaller target market and a smaller availability to match.

71014 DFB Soccer Minifigures features a lineup of German soccer players. There are 14 players – each featuring a torso print distinguished only by a name on the back, 1 goalkeeper – with a different torso and legs, and the coach – with blue suit torso and legs. Each minifigure comes with a soccer ball, except the coach who comes with a clipboard printed tile.

According to reports the minifigures represent: Manuel Neuer, Shkodran Mustafi, Mesut Ozil, Benedikt Höwedes, Mats Hummels, Sami Khedira, Bastian Schweinsteiger, André Schürrle, Thomas Müller, Jérôme Boateng, Toni Kroos, Mario Götze, Christoph Kramer, Marco Reus, Max Kruse and coach Joachim Loew.

These minifigures are only going to be available in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria so don’t expect to see them on shelves here. If you are after a set you are going to have to buy them online.
