After posting the article a few days ago about the crazy cheap LEGO Dimensions sets a lot of people crossed their fingers and hoped that those prices would still be around when wave 7 launched on November 18.
Well today is November 18th and those prices are still active!
You can get all of the new packs for super cheap prices, but as I said previously – there is no guarantee that LEGO will honour these prices. The fact that they haven’t fixed the prices yet may indicate that this is some kind of bizarre promotion.
I’ve loaded up on these and the previous cheap prices mentioned yesterday. So far so good in terms of my order being processed. 😀
Order placed too, unfortunately the GB one is out of stock, I was hoping to get another one.
Damn! Too late. Only Ateam set showing cheap now. All rest not coming up at all
Lego site down? Looks like it’s finished!
they are back on the site now for the lower prices.
Whatever was up with the website was only effecting some browsers and has since been resolved.
I’ve been able to order everything except the fantastic beasts story pack – this gives an error message. Has anyone been able to order this?
I was able to order it when I placed an order around 0530 yesterday morning.
I tried ordering Fantastic Beasts Story Pack around midnight Friday- error message until 2am!!
Now I check Saturday night & it has completely disappeared from the LEGO website.
Got most of the rest (some back order) but Fantastic Beasts story pack seems to have vanished. Mission Impossible is sold out but still visible.
Also Pirate chess set is on sale for backorder at $63.99
Well they are almost all listed as out of stock now but the fantastic beasts is still a no show.
Had anyone been able to find out what is going on at Lego?
No, & we still don’t want to find out until we all get the Fanastic Beasts for $15.99 & other packs that we missed out on.
Once everybody eventually orders them when stock returns, then we will ask questions.
My order has shipped (most of it)! No cancellation on cheap sets.
For anyone else they are all back up available at the lower prices with exception of Fantastic Beasts story pack which is still missing.
Had anyone been able to order the Fantastic Beasts story pack???
I think people who got in really early did. I certainly missed out.
I placed my order Nov 18, 2107 AEST. I could only get the A team from the 1st round offer, the rest showing out of stock (I missed reading Michael’s first email alert). From the 2nd round offer, I was able to get all 5 of them. I have since received an order confirmation email, a shipping email and a shop receipt email. Prices charged as quoted. I await with baited breathe for their successful delivery.
Just out of interest I went back onto the site. Just purchased other 4 sets from 1st round offer at the same prices. Only one I couldn’t find was AdventTime Team Pack. Even paying another $30 shipping fee I’m still way out in front.
Fantastic Beast story pack now available $69.95 and Adventure Time team pack $39.95. Oddly all the rest are still super cheap…
Just announcing successful receipt of delivery????
In total I saved $201 off Big W promo pricing. Thank you Michael – I will be able to drip feed my 3 boys until Easter ????
Sorry, those ???? were emoticons. I’m not questioning the fact that I’m very happy with this promotion/error on Lego’s part.
Just confirming receipt of all my cheap dimensions sets including fantastic beasts!! Thanks for the heads up, I love this blog.
My second order arrived yesterday and Santa will be delivering Story Packs in Christmas stockings soon. Surprised though how long it took, I haven’t ordered from Lego.com before and thought it was actually shipped from overseas as it took two full weeks to get here. Turns out it was interstate – I’ve had stuff shipped from the US faster.
I had perfect storm of issues. Lego cancelled one item for no reason and with no notification which pushed my order under $200, so I got charged $35 postage. They look to be refunding post but with overseas credit card fees I’ll end up getting hit twice, on buy and on refund. So not overly impressed with the whole saga.
Ebay/facebook groups are now flooded with people profiteering the dimensions sets for near retail prices when WE know what they actually got then for!
Interesting about the credit card fees – I read the disclaimer when going through checkout and fully expected it but never got charged and I had two transactions with different cards. I’m peeved about the postage rates though, I was charged $30 to ship from Sydney to Brisbane which is about double the cost. Not inclined to shop the website again unless there is another silly sale.
To be fair I think they still come from Europe. The return postage address is just in Sydney to save them return post costs.
I only know a few cards that are exempt from overseas fees eg 28degrees, bankwest platinum and citibank debit. Unless you have special unlisted deals with bank 🙂
No, I don’t think so – the only postage label is Aus Post e-parcel and there is no customs declaration. Just got lucky on the fees I guess – no exemptions that I know of.
