LEGO Harry Potter Is Back

With the New York Toy Fair about to kick off LEGO have confirmed a rumour that we all hoped was true – LEGO is returning the wizarding world with a range of new sets.

The sets will cover both the original Harry Potter series and also the new Fantastic Beasts film.

The first set that has been shown off is 75954 Hogwarts Great Hall. This is a fantastic looking set with a lot of interior styling. Unfortunately the exterior seems to have some heavy sticker use.

75954 Hogwarts Great Hall Detail

This set features a pretty impressive minifigure lineup; Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Susan Bones, Professor McGonagall, Professor Quirrell with dual Lord Voldemort face, Hagrid, Albus Dumbledore and Nearly Headless Nick, plus buildable Basilisk and Fawkes creatures, and Hedwig and Scabbers figures.

It’s great that the set includes all three main characters. Often they are split over multiple sets.

There is no Australian RRP released but with a US price of $99.99 I think it’s safe bet that it will be at least $150 here.

Hardly a great hall at that size but lots of minifigures. The change of colour scheme away from the sand green is a pity – nice to see a return just the same always a popular theme at any lego show.

  2. Andrew says:

This is very exciting! I was in my dark ages when all the previous Harry Potter Lego came out, and I absolutely love Harry Potter! So it’s exciting that there will be one (or maybe more) sets to get soon!

  3. Tim says:

Not interested in Harry Potter but this would be an easy mod to make a Winter Village church, alternatively would look good in a Castle build.
