First Look At LEGO Masters Australia

The LEGO Masters Australia Facebook page has given us our first look at the new series.

Reality TV can either be a heap of fun, or absolutely terrible – I’m hoping that this show is going to be great.

What do you think? Will you be tuning in when it starts later this year?

Hope it remains simply about building and they haven’t turned it into the usual spiteful snipe-fest that is served up as “reality” in this country. Don’t see a lot of young contestants – I reckon it’s the contrast between the adults and the children (often on the same team :) ) that makes the original so compelling. If you haven’t seen it yet, have a look at the UK’s Christmas Special.

  2. David says:

no, looking at the add it is over hyped reality TV. time better spent just building in the real world

  3. John Boxall says:

As long as it is about the LEGO and not drama or sob stories, it should be OK.

  4. It looks more to be in the style of Masterchef than MKR so hoping the tone is the same.

  5. Chris says:

Looks a bit slicker than the UK version actually.

  6. Richard says:

OMG. Another English clone. It looks as terrible as all the other copies of English shows eg Pointless, Sunday night takeaway, The Chase etc.
Can’t we make anything ourselves anymore

  7. Byron John coppins says:

I hope at new hope that is new castle with bricks

  8. Gary says:

My inside tip is that it was a VERY professional show with a high focus on a positive, family experience (no negativity or sniping like some reality shows)

  9. Terry says:

You would have to be desperate to watch such a crap show

  10. Byron says:

Wow that is good when LEGO masters come on tv
