Three New LEGO Ideas Sets Confirmed

The LEGO Ideas team have just used a Facebook Live stream to announce the latest review results, and it’s a huge one.

Three sets have passed review and will officially be made in to LEGO products.

Held over from the last review but now approved is

Playable LEGO Piano

The complexity of this model means that LEGO needed more time to finalise the approval. It sounds like it’s going to be an interesting build.

Pirate Bay

Great news for pirates fan. This impressive model should make for an epic set.

123 Sesame Street

Celebrating 50 years of Sesame Street this model should hopefully be pretty big and detailed when it eventually hits stores. As somebody who watches his fair share of Sesame Street I am excited for this one.

The Anato-mini model has been held over for the next review.

  1. Sean White says:

Excellent choices…and really the only ones that would appeal to the mass market….besides maybe the Adams family mansion

  2. Andrew says:

Uh-oh, incoming wallet damage alert. Three great choices which will all be day one acquisitions methinks.

  3. Bart says:

Great choices. The Ideas sets are a great expansion to legos base range.

  4. Agent 86 says:

Very cool! I’m going to be sorely tempted by Pirate Bay and possibly Sesame Street too.

  5. Charlotte says:

Yay! I voted for Pirate Bay, we need more Pirate Sets! It looks incredible :)

  6. Hugh says:

I suspect Sesame Street won’t sell very well; the audience of that show is too young for Lego. The piano and pirate bay are masterpieces.

  7. Don says:

Can you imagine how insane the pirate bay will be with leds installed.

  8. Steve says:

Can’t wait to see how that piano build goes together to be playable. That set is a must.

  9. Jonathan Wilson says:

There are a lot of adults and AFOLs who grew up watching Sesame Street (and who may watch it with their own kids). I want the Sesame Street set myself because of all the nostalgia.
