On Sale: 20% Off At Target

Target are getting in on the school holiday/pre-Easter sales as well, with another 20% off offer.

From today (March 26th) until April 26th you can get 20% off all LEGO (as well as some other toys).

If you are in the market for something it’s definitely worth taking a minute to check Big W and Target to see who has the cheaper price.

You can find the Target LEGO range here.

Tantive IV not available for delivery and no stock in my region. Am trying to place an order but the 20% discount disappears when I go to my basket, and then it crashes.
Looks like Target has gone the way of Mygov – line up at the stores (but observe social distancing).

Yep, target wouldn’t show the discount, so went onto Big W to pick up Assembly Square. Does anyone know if Myer are restricted by Lego in their usual sale exclusions (ie Creator Expert)… if not, do they wonder why they have 2 dozen Corner Garage sets still sitting on their shelves?

As they are resellers rather than agents I don’t think this would be legal. I imagine it’s just the bean counters looking at the profitability of each individual range and making blanket decisions on exclusions. No other retailer does this, so it surely can’t be Lego policy.

The only other explanation I can think of is that they act as agents rather than resellers (like they do for brands like Miele) where the manufacturer sets the price. Again, as no other retailer does this, it seems unlikely.

Cheers. Yep sounds like a bean counter decision that’s been revisited as often as Myers decor.
