On Sale: 20% Off At Myer

Myer Logo Generic 200px

While Myer’s 25% off sale has come to an end they are following it up with a 20% off sale this weekend.

Of course 20% isn’t as good as some of the other offers running at the moment but I might be an option for some people. The usual exclusions seem to be in effect; Creator Expert, Ideas, UCS Falcon, Death Star and Harry Potter.

Myer also has the sale prices listed on their eBay store so you might be able to save further with one of the current discount codes.

This is a weekend offer so is likely to end on Sunday September 23rd.

You can view the Myer online range here.

The Myer eBay range can be found here.

On Sale: Selected Sets Reduced At Big W

Big W 2017 Logo

Big W are getting in on the school holiday discounts too with a range of sets reduced in their latest catalogue.

The offering is fairly broad so hopefully there should be something for everybody.

The sale starts today and runs until October 3rd.

You can view the catalogue here or see a list of included sets below.

On Sale: 20% Off At Target

Target 200x200

It’s school holiday time, which means we are getting some good sales this week. Target is getting in on the action with 20% off LEGO.

This latest offer from Target may not seem as good as the recent 25% off sales but with Target’s prices often lower than RRP it can work out better.

This sale runs from today (September 20th) until October 10th. This is a normal Target sale so runs both online and in-store.

You can view the online range here.

Lepin Steals Design From Talented Local AFOL

henry-pinto-mech-build

Henry Pinto is an Australian LEGO fan and an incredibly talented builder. He has made something of a name for himself with huge builds such as the X-Men Sentinel that was over a metre tall.

His latest build was a very impressive LEGO Gundam – another huge build.

Unfortunately this Gundam build was so good that Lepin decided to steal his design and market it as a product they were producing.

I spoke to Henry earlier today about the revelation that his hard work had been appropriated by a dodgy company.

Bricking Around:  There have been reports in the past that Lepin have contacted people and offered to buy designs first, then rip them off  anyway when they say no. Were you ever approached by Lepin at all?

Henry: Not at all. I only released the photos on Monday.

How did you discover that Lepin had used your images?

I had people from all over the world message me. At first I thought it was a joke and someone was pulling a prank. I even thought it was funny, but then I started getting links to actual retail stores taking pre-orders. That’s when I realised that it was not a joke and they were serious.

On Sale: 25% Off At David Jones

David Jones Logo

David Jones like to keep things simple with their sales. They often have a flat rate and a long run time. That’s exactly what we’ve got here.

From today until October 7th you can get 25% off all full priced toys, including LEGO. As usual with David Jones the sale price won’t show until you add an item to your cart.

You can view the online LEGO range here.

This offer should be available both in-store and online.

eBay Voucher Code Update

eBay 200

After posting about eBay’s 10% off yesterday I learned that it was a code for selected people only.

I’ve tracked down a few more codes that you can try. Here are the ones that I know of.

PLUSIT15

If you are an eBay Plus customer you will be able to get 15% off eligible eBay Plus items with the code PLUSIT15. The minimum spend for this offer is $75.
There is no fixed end date for this offer and eBay may withdraw it at any time.

HAPPY

The code HAPPY will give selected customers 10% off. The minimum spend is $50.
This code expires on September 23rd.

PLUG5

The code PLUG5 will give you 5% off. The minimum spend is $50.
There is no fixed end date for this offer either, and eBay may withdraw it at any time.

PACKAGE20

The code PACKAGE20 will give you 20% off a second item when you buy two. The minimum spend is $50.
There is no fixed end date for this offer either, and eBay may withdraw it at any time.

POLLEN

This code will only work at selected stores for 20% off. The only LEGO listings appear to be from Hobby Warehouse. Please be aware that a lot of the Hobby Warehouse listings start much higher than RRP, so buyer beware.
The code POLLEN expires September 20th.

The PLUSIT15, HAPPY or PLUG5 codes should all be compatible with the Myer eBay 25% off giving you some great total discounts.

You can also check out the eBay LEGO portal here.

Thanks to everybody who shared codes with me.

On Sale: 10% Off At eBay (32.5% Off At Myer’s eBay Store)

eBay 200

eBay has just sent out a new site-wide 10% off code.

UPDATE: This is a targeted offer and not available to everybody.

While the code will work nicely for anything over $50 at eBay, it should stack particularly well with Myer’s 25% off for a total discount of 32.5% off.

The code you’ll need is HAPPY.

This offer runs until September 23rd 2018.

You can view the Myer range here, or just head over to eBay’s LEGO portal and look around.

On Sale: 25% Off At Myer

Myer Logo Generic 200px

We don’t usually get a new Myer sale on a Tuesday, but I’m certainly not complaining with this offer.

For today and tomorrow only (Sept 18th & 19th) Myer are offering 25% off most of their LEGO range.

There are of course some exclusions: Clearance, Lego Creator Expert, Ideas, Millennium Falcon 75192, Death Star 75159, Bugatti Chiron 42083 and “No further discounts apply” items.

Despite the exclusion list there is still plenty on sale.

You can view Myer’s online range here.

The discounts also seem to be running on the Myer eBay store. View the Myer eBay range here.

On Sale: 30% Off At Kidstuff

Kidstuff isn’t a retailer that gets a lot of coverage here, but it’s hard to argue with 30% off.

3181887e-ef5c-4e75-a5e2-d466a83138e3

This is a one day only sale that runs in-store and online today.

You can view their online range here.

Thanks to Alex and Alyssa for the information.
