Release Schedule For Second Half of 2017

2HY 2017 Catalogue Cover

Over the weekend the LEGO Catalogue app on my phone was updated to feature the new catalogue for the second half of the year. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a PDF version online but I have gone through page by page to compile a list of all the release details.

I have also included the June stuff, even though it should already be in stores. While some of the City sets showed up for the Toy Sales, the full range should be released this month, along with the coast guard sets. The new LEGO Batman Movie sets should also be appearing soon.

The only hint of The Last Jedi sets is a page saying they will be revealed in September. There are also details of the three Justice League sets coming out in August.

If there is a set not in the list below that likely means that it is a store exclusive or not coming to Australian retail. The catalogue is for the general release sets.

You can view the full list of 90 sets below. The list is searchable and sortable if there is a particular set that you are looking for.

Double VIP Points Offer Now Live

In a completely unexpected move the online LEGO store is offering Double VIP Points on all purchases for the next few days.

Head on over to the online store to take advantage of the offer.

Please note that VIP Points are not available at Dreamworld or LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne.

10258 London Bus Announced [Updated]

While the Mini Cooper has already had the Creator Expert LEGO treatment, an even bigger British icon is now becoming a LEGO set – introducing 10258 London Bus.

10258 London Bus

With 1680 pieces this set is designed to be displayed with the other large Creator Expert sets – The Mini, Beetle and VW Camper. The London Bus features realistic external styling and a detailed interior on both the upper and lower levels. The roof and upper level can be separately removed to allow a closer look inside.

You will be able to chose how you’d like to display this set as it has been designed with modern and classic decoration options. The advertising banner on the side features an alternative vintage style ad for biscuits.

To make the set a little more realistic there are also some nice little touches like wear and tear on the seats and items left behind by passengers (a can, newspaper and forgotten umbrella).  Some fun LEGO touches have been added with the destinations Yellow Brick Road, Brickadilly Circus and Twobytwo Square.

There are lots of details to check out so read on for the official product description, designer video and gallery below.

The set will be officially released on August 1st, with a VIP pre-release on July 17th. No Australian pricing at this stage but I will update you once I know. The Australian price has been confirmed as $199.99.

On Sale: 15% Off At eBay

eBay 200

While 15% off alone may not be the most amazing offer, this deal should stack with the various sales that are already running at eBay.

There is no expiry for this offer but it’s not likely to run for longer than today.

The code for the 15% off is CRAZY and there is a minimum $75 spend.

Myer

Myer’s eBay store is currently offering 20-25% off LEGO. With the addition of the CRAZY code that brings your total discount to between 32% and 36.25% off.

View the Myer eBay LEGO range here.

Target

With Target’s 20% off sale running some (but not all) of their eBay range is also 20% off. With the CRAZY code that brings the discount up to 32% off.

View the Target eBay LEGO range here.

Other

The CRAZY code should work on any eBay purchase, so you may want to head over to the eBay homepage and have a look around for yourself.

On Sale: 28 – 32.5% Off At Myer’s eBay Store

Myer eBay 200

I have no idea why, but right now the Myer eBay store is offering between 20 to 25% off their LEGO range. I haven’t been able to find any particular pattern to the discount but if you view the product page for a particular item you will be able to see the what the percentage off is.

You can also get an extra 10% off with the code COZZIE. That brings the total discount up to 32.5% off for some items.

The eBay code runs until July 12th, but the Myer sale is likely to end before then. Unfortunately I can’t find an end date for the Myer offer.

On Sale: 28% Off At Target’s eBay Store

eBay 200

As part of their Toy Sale Target have reduced their LEGO prices by 20%, and those prices are also showing on the Target eBay store for some items. You’ll need to view each product page to see if the discount is showing unfortunately.

With the addition of code COZZIE you can bring the discount up to a more interesting 28%.

The additional code expires on July 12th (I believe) and has a $30 minimum spend.

2017 Toy Sales – All The Deals From Kmart

Toy Sale Retailer Kmart

Period: June 29 – July 19 2017

Big Ticket Items: None featured

Christmas Lay-by: No

View catalogue

We finally have details of what may be the last of this year’s toy sales with the catalogue from Kmart. On offer is a range of small sets at fairly good prices. Kmart are not known for their large exclusives so it is no surprise that the sets featured are all fairly common.

Kmart does not appear to be offering Christmas lay-by, but they haven’t for the last few years.

They are also promising to match prices from other stores, but not beat those prices.

You can view the full list of sets featured in the catalogue below.

2017 Toy Sales – 20% Off At Target

Toy Sale Retailer Target

Period: June 29 – July 19 2017

Big Ticket Items: None featured

Christmas Lay-by: No

View catalogue

This may not be a toy sale in the most traditional sense – a big catalogue full of decent discounts – but it is the middle of the year and LEGO is on sale, so I guess it does qualify.

From June 29th until July 11th Target are offering 20% off their regular prices on LEGO.

Target prices are usually a few dollars less than RRP so your overall saving will end up being more than the 20% off. If you are looking to buy I suggest checking the price on the Target website and having a look for that set in the Toy Sale lists and see if it is cheaper elsewhere.

Target are also offering to price match on toys, but not beat prices.

Where To Buy The LEGO Batman Movie

The LEGO Batman Movie is officially out on home media from tomorrow. There are various different formats on offer and some retailers also offering bonuses. In the end there are a few factors what will determine your best choice.

Bonuses

Unfortunately it seems that Australia is not getting the version that comes with a Batgirl minifigure. Luckily it’s not all bad news with other offers available.

JB Hi-Fi

JB Batwing Bonus

With an version of the film you will receive a free Batwing polybag. The website is calling this a bonus minifigure but the picture clearly shows 30524 The Mini Batwing which does not include a minifigure. I have heard multiple reports that JB were selling the movie yesterday, so you may be able to get it today.

Sanity
Sanity LEGO Batman Bonus

On offer is a pre-order bonus of 30523 The Joker Battle Training, which includes a Joker minifgure and brick-built Batman training dummy (it includes a cowl but not a complete Batman). This bonus is listed as a pre-order bonus so you may want to get in contact with your local store and see if you can get hold of it.

Big W

Big W LEGO Batman Bonus

The offer from Big W is a little vague. The toy sale catalogue mentions a bonus activity set with various versions of the film, but it doesn’t specifically say what is included in the activity set. It looks like from the image that there is no LEGO included.

Read on for information about the various versions and their prices
