New Offers From LEGO Online

Those of you after the free Gingerbread Man minifigure from LEGO will be disappointed to hear that the bonus has sold out. It’s not all bad news though, as there are two new offers available.

Double VIP offers are always a good time to pick up those exclusive sets that aren’t available in-store. The Double Points Offer is valid from December 16th to December 26th 2016.

He’s not a cute Gingerbread Man but this minifigure should be a nice bonus for Star Wars fans. Your free LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-Wing Pilot set will be automatically added to your shopping bag with LEGO Star Wars purchases over $45. Available until December 31st or while supplies last.

To further tempt you the 2017 Star Wars sets are now available too. I have heard reports of some of these appearing in stores but not the full range as yet.

2017 Set Details

2017 Set Details Thumb

LEGO have been busy updating their online store with pages for sets that are being released in January.

After a bit of work I’ve compiled all of that information into an easy to read table with pictures, Australian RRP and a link to each product. There’s over 150 new sets being released.

This information all comes from the online store, and sets are released there before anywhere else. This list doesn’t factor in the staggered retail release that we usually get and it doesn’t account for retailer exclusives. We’ll know more about that when the 2017 retailer catalogue is released.

In the meantime have a look through the list and weep for the future of your bank balances.

LEGO Announces New BlockHeadz Theme By Showing 8 You’ll Probably Never Own

LEGO have used their Facebook page to show off a new theme for 2017 – BlockHeadz. They’ve done so by revealing 8 BlockHeadz that look pretty great – the problem is that the 8 they chose to share just happen to be San Diego Comic Con exclusives.

Brickheadz SDCC Batman Joker

BlockHeadz are small brick built characters with exaggerated blocky heads (like a LEGO version of the popular Pop Vinyl toys). The theme will launch in 2017 but there are no details on what the final theme will consist of other than the fact that the BlockHeadz come in pairs. The 8 characters that LEGO shared are all SDCC exclusives.

If LEGO are using Batman, Superman, Iron Man and Captain America in sets that can only be purchased in San Diego then it’s going to be interesting to see what the actual theme looks like.

You can check out all 8 of the exclusives below.

2017 Marvel Mighty Micros Revealed

After getting a first look at the DC Mighty Micros for 2017 LEGO have just shared pictures of the Marvel line-up, and they look fantastic.

Wolverine vs. Magneto

Spider-Man vs. Scorpion

They all look great, but I suspect the Iron Man vs. Thanos set is going to be the most popular.

2017 DC Mighty Micros Revealed

The Mighty Micro sets released this year have been a bit of a hit. They are reasonably priced sets with a great sense of fun and well known characters. It’s no surprise then that LEGO are producing a new range for 2017.

Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter we now have details of three new DC Mighty Micros sets, and it’s the big three – Batman, Wonderwoman and Superman.
