Boxing Day 2019 Round-up

Boxing Day isn’t usually the best day for LEGO sales. Retailers generally choose to discount boring stuff like clothes and homewares. They probably figure that with Santa giving out so many toys yesterday that’s not what people are looking to buy. Thankfully there are still some sales.

Here’s what I’ve found:

Amazon – Various [affiliate links]

  1. Technic, Ninjago & Overwatch
  2. Star Wars & Marvel
  3. DUPLO, Friends, Juniors & Toy Story 4
  4. City & Creator

David Jones – 20% off selected

While DJs usually offers a flat discount on everything this time they are doing 20% off a range of sets.

Myer – 50% off second item [affiliate link]

If you have a few things to get this Myer offer is pretty appealing. Get 50% off your second item when you buy two or more LEGO sets. Standard exclusions seem to apply.

Toys R Us – Selected sets on sale

A range of sets are reduced. No flat percentage off so some stuff will be better value than others.

All The New Sets Available From LEGO Online

boxing-day-releases-2018

Rather than wait until January 1st to release all of their new sets LEGO have updated their online store today with 60 sets now available.

Included in the line-up are the LEGO Movie 2 sets, new City and Friends – among others.

You can check out the full listing below. Each line should have a link to that particular product page (note: the links are automatically generated so let me know if any don’t work).

What are you planning to pick up? Or are you waiting for sets to hit retail?

Boxing Day Sale: 10% Off At eBay

boxing-day-sales

eBay’s Boxing Day offer is now live – they are offering 10% off your purchase when you spend $120 or more.

To get your discount enter the code PRIZE  at checkout. The usual rules apply - maximum discount of $300 per transaction and the code can only be use for a maximum of 2 transactions.

This is also one of those offers where eBay will end it at any time. So get in quick.

Unfortunately Target are excluded from the sale and Myer’s sale isn’t active on eBay.

You can find eBay’s LEGO portal here.

Boxing Day Sale: 20% Off At David Jones

You can always count on David Jones for a nice simple sale.

For their end of year sale they are offering 20% off the regular price of toys, including all of their LEGO range.

This offer runs until January 6th so it might even be possible to get some January releases on sale.

You can find the David Jones LEGO range here.

Boxing Day Sale: 20% Off At Myer

Myer are rolling out a classic for their Boxing Day offering – a 20% off sale with a heap of exclusions. The only difference is that this one also has a minimum spend.

If you spend $50 or more on toys you will get 20% off your total order.

LEGO is included except for LEGO Ideas, Creator Expert, Technic, Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, Death Star and UCS Millennium Falcon.

This offer ends 11:59pm AEDT on December 28th. I can’t see any specific wording indicating that this is an online only offer.

You can view the included LEGO here.

Boxing Day Sale: Cheap Ninjago City Docks From Target or Amazon

boxing-day-sales

Target’s Boxing Day offer is quite narrow – they are offering Ninjago City Docks for $199 in an online only offer.

It’s a great price for a really fantastic set. If you’ve got some Christmas money already burning a hole in your pocket then this is a tempting buy.

You can find the Target product page here.

In a blatant attempt to steal the thunder from Target, Amazon have already matched the Target price on this set and are offering it for $199 too. If you are looking for something else from Amazon’s Boxing Day sale then it makes sense to do your shopping in one place. Also handy if the Target offer sells out.

You can find the Amazon listing here.

Boxing Day Sale: Selected Sets On Sale At Amazon

Amazon are getting in on the Boxing Day action early with a range of sets for 20% off their normal price.

I say normal price rather than RRP because a lot of the Amazon prices were already matched to other retailers, which means the 20% off works out to be a pretty great price.

There’s a fairly broad range of sets included so it’s probably best if you go check out the full listing.

You can view the offer for yourself here.

Boxing Day Sales: 20% Off Two or More Toys At Myer

Myer Logo Generic 200px

Myer is celebrating Boxing Day with an online only offer that runs just until the end of tomorrow.

You can get 20% Off when you buy two or more toys (doesn’t have to be LEGO) from now until 11:59pm AEDT Tuesday December 26th.

There doesn’t seem to be any exclusions so you can add a modular and a small set and get 20% off both.

As this is an online only offer don’t forget to factor in potential postage.

It also seems the individual anniversary codes are working again. Adding the most relevant one of these will bring your order down further. The codes are ANNIVERSARY10 for $10 off when you spend $60 or more, ANNIVERSARY15 for $15 off when you spend $80 or more and ANNIVERSARY20 for $20 off when you spend $100 or more.

You can view their full online LEGO range here.

Unfortunately this type of sale isn’t active on eBay.

Boxing Day Sales: 10% Off At eBay

eBay 200

It’s Christmas night, which means its time to check out all of the boxing day sales. I’m starting with this offer from eBay as it might be a useful add-on to some of the other sales that we get.

From tomorrow (December 26th) until they decide to end it you can get 10% off your eBay purchases over $75.

To take advantage of the offer enter the code PUNCH at checkout.

As usual with eBay codes the maximum discount is $300 per transaction.

Head over to eBay to take advantage of this offer.

Boxing Day Sales: 25% Off At Shopforme

It’s good to see another small LEGO retailer getting in on the Boxing Day savings.

Melbourne based Shopforme are offering an impressive 25% off site-wide today only.

There’s really not a lot more to say – get shopping.

Thanks to the few people who shared this with me.
