Bricking Around Bushfire Appeal Update

I just want to start by saying that the Bricking Around community is absolutely amazing. You all dug deep and together raised $3286.48.

For each dollar donated the donor received one entry in the prize draw. A winning number was randomly selected and the prize pack will soon be on its way to Ben G.

Earlier today I made the donation to the Red Cross. The total donation was $3286, as I could only enter whole dollars. The other $0.48 will be kept in the PayPal balance for any future charity events.

Bricking Around Bushfire Appeal

This summer has seen countless Australians hit by an unimaginable bushfire disaster. Those who have been impacted by this disaster face a long and difficult journey of rebuilding and recovery. To help support those affected I want to raise some funds for the Australian Red Cross Disaster Recovery Appeal. With a little bit of help I have put together a fantastic LEGO prize pack and for every $1 you contribute to the appeal, you’ll get one entry in the prize draw.

Here’s the details of what the lucky winner will get:

How to enter

For every $1 you donate via PayPal you will get 1 entry in the draw. Simply follow this link:

PayPal.me/BACharity

The winner will be contacted via the PayPal account email address, so please ensure you use a PayPal account with an email that you check regularly. Also, please select the Friends & Family option as this will not incur any fees. I have set things up in a way that should avoid any PayPal fees, and I will cover postage to the winner within Australia. This means 100% of the funds will go to the Australian Red Cross. Draw is for Australian residents only. One winner will receive the full prize pack.

Entries now closed. Entries will be collated and a winner drawn soon

Entries close at 11:59 PM AEST on January 31st 2020.

A huge thanks goes to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne for providing some additional prizes.

Thanks also to LEGO’s community engagement team. The Harley Davidson set was originally intended for review, but the team have graciously allowed me to re-purpose this for the appeal.
