On Sale: Selected Sets Reduced At Big W

BigW 200x200

With all of the excitement over the Drop Zone discounts, we almost missed the latest Big W catalogue. Luckily we remembered, and discovered some interesting LEGO related goodies.

LEGO City
There are a range of LEGO City vehicles reduced to $22. These small City sets are always popular, so good to see a discount on those.

Bionicle
Lots of Bionicle sets reduced. There does however appear to be an error in the catalogue; 70790 Lord of Skull Spiders is listed above RRP at $25.

Speed Champions
Introductory offer on some of the sets in this new theme.

Elves, New Friends, New Disney Princess
The sets listed in the catalogue are regular Big W prices so we haven’t listed them in the table below. It’s more about letting you know that the sets are now in-store.

This catalogue runs from today (Thursday March 26th 2015) until Monday April 6th 2015.

You can view the catalogue here, or view a table of the discounts below.

German Retail Calendar For 2015 Leaks Online

LEGO has unintentionally released a heap of official information for 2015 sets by making a German version of the 1st Half 2015 retail catalogue available online.

The catalogue includes release dates for a heap of new sets, as well as official images of some previously unseen sets such as the Avengers: Age of Ultron range.

Avengers Ultron 2015

You can check out the catalogue here

It’s certainly worth checking out the whole thing.

We have gone through all 116 pages of the catalogue and listed the releases below. Note that these release dates may not be accurate for Australia.

2015 Set Images Surface Online – Part 3: Friends & Elves

Every year in October, LEGO fans start to wonder what the following year will have in store. We have already seen leaks with set names, but now we have pictures to go with them. Over on YouTube a user by the name of Just2Good has uploaded several videos with what appear to be official images of various 2015 sets.

In this post we are going to look at Friends and the new Elves theme. Both of these themes focus on pink and purple colours, so we thought it made sense to group them together.

Friends

After the adventures that the Friends characters went on last year, these sets seem quite tame for the most part. Lots of stereotypically ‘girly’ subjects like the hair salon. The hot air balloon is quite interesting.
