New offer from Target launches today with 20% off their Jurassic World toy range. Luckily that also includes the the LEGO and Duplo sets.

The offer is live now and runs until midnight on May 30th. It is featured in the latest catalogue so should be running in-store as well as online.

Unfortunately there is no link to just the LEGO but you should be able to find them easy enough amongst the other products here.

Jurassic World Sets Spotted In Kmart

It looks like the new Jurassic World sets are starting to show up in stores a little earlier than they are supposed to.

Bricking Around reader Isaac got in touch last night to let me know that he spotted some of the sets in his local Kmart (Victoria Point in QLD). We now have Kmart prices for three of the new sets. Two from the Jurassic World theme and the awesome looking Jurassic Park related set.

75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase – $59

What do you think of these prices? Do you plan on grabbing any of them? Let me know.

The full range of Jurassic World sets should be out by the end of the week.

Thanks again to Isaac for the information.

New Set From The Original Jurassic Park Revealed

LEGO have already revealed that they are going all-in on Jurassic World related sets, with not only regular sets but Juniors and Duplo also coming out. What I didn’t expect is a set based on one of the most iconic moments from the original Jurassic Park movie.

75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase manages to pack multiple iconic scenes and references into a compact little set.

75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase (1)

The set features four minifigures – Lex, Tim, Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant – as well as a single velociraptor.

As a huge fan of the original Jurassic Park this set is ticking a heap of nostalgia boxes. So many iconic moments are captured.

You can check out additional images and set details below.

More Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Set Details

As part of the New York Toy Fair event details of several more Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom sets have been released.

There are once again a mix between regular sets, juniors sets and Duplo.

75926 Pteranodon Chase

Two minifigures, including Owen (Chris Pratt). A single Pteranodon is included as well as an egg. The small jeep features a new style net launcher.

LEGO Reveal Jurassic World Sets For All Ages

Thanks to the LEGO catalogue we already knew that LEGO was bringing out a pretty extensive range of sets related to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom but we didn’t have any idea what those sets would look like.

The full line-up hasn’t been revealed yet but we do now have pictures of one set in each category (Duplo, Juniors and regular sets).

75928 Blue’s Helicopter Pursuit

75928

This is our first regular LEGO set from the movie. It features a minifigure version of Owen (played by Chris Pratt) as well as two other minifigures. The star of Jurassic World sets is always the dinosaurs and this set features the velociraptor named Blue. The helicopter is quite nice and features a large single element windscreen.

See the other sets below.

New LEGO Dimensions Sets Uncovered

LEGO Dimensions may still be a few months away, but thanks to a discovery by Brickset we have some details of new sets that will coming out.

The biggest news is a completely new IP – Portal 2 will be making an appearance in LEGO form with a Dimensions Level Pack. A level pack means you won’t just get to play as Chell, you will also get to be able to play with all of the other characters in a Portal 2 inspired level. Have you always wanted to see LEGO Batman in Portal? Well now you can (probably).

Portal and Doctor Who Levels

The other really exciting news is a Doctor Who Level Pack. We knew that Doctor Who LEGO was coming soon, but to have him as a playable character in LEGO Dimensions is awesome. The level may be based on Victorian London, but it’s a bit hard to tell from the small image. What we do know is that there is a LEGO TARDIS.

Simpsons Level

We also have a third new Level Pack confirmed – The Simpsons. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise, but still looks like it could be a fun level.

Bart Fun Pack Krusty Fun PackSpeaking of The Simpsons, we also have two new Team Packs confirmed – Krusty The Clown and Bart Simpson.

Scooby and Jurassic World Team Packs

Last but certainly not least we have two previously unannounced Team Packs featuring Scooby-Doo and Jurassic World. We knew that LEGO had the rights to both of these, but its great to see them appear in LEGO Dimensions. We can’t decide what we like more; the brick built raptor or the micro Mystery Machine.
