New Offers From LEGO Online

Those of you after the free Gingerbread Man minifigure from LEGO will be disappointed to hear that the bonus has sold out. It’s not all bad news though, as there are two new offers available.

Double VIP points

Double VIP offers are always a good time to pick up those exclusive sets that aren’t available in-store. The Double Points Offer is valid from December 16th to December 26th 2016.

Free Rebel A-Wing Pilot with Star Wars orders over $45

He’s not a cute Gingerbread Man but this minifigure should be a nice bonus for Star Wars fans. Your free LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-Wing Pilot set will be automatically added to your shopping bag with LEGO Star Wars purchases over $45. Available until December 31st or while supplies last.

To further tempt you the 2017 Star Wars sets are now available too. I have heard reports of some of these appearing in stores but not the full range as yet.

Free LEGO Gingerbread Man From LEGO Online

It may be too late to get your Christmas orders in, but LEGO are still being festive with their latest freebie.

Spend $45 or more and receive a free LEGO Gingerbread Man (5005156)

 5005156 Gingerbread Man Giveaway

The collectible minifigure version of the Gingerbread Man was a popular figure, so this bonus should also be popular. This offer ends on December 20th 2016.

Here are the terms from the website: LEGO® Gingerbread Man (5005156) is valid for orders online at shop.LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores and LEGO Catalogue telephone orders from 11th December 2016 until 20th December 2016, or while stocks last. Qualifying purchase must be equal to or greater than $45 in LEGO merchandise only. One LEGO Gingerbread Man (5005156) per household.

2017 Set Details

2017 Set Details Thumb

LEGO have been busy updating their online store with pages for sets that are being released in January.

After a bit of work I’ve compiled all of that information into an easy to read table with pictures, Australian RRP and a link to each product. There’s over 150 new sets being released.

This information all comes from the online store, and sets are released there before anywhere else. This list doesn’t factor in the staggered retail release that we usually get and it doesn’t account for retailer exclusives. We’ll know more about that when the 2017 retailer catalogue is released.

In the meantime have a look through the list and weep for the future of your bank balances.

LEGO Dimensions Wave 7 Also Really Cheap At LEGO Online

After posting the article a few days ago about the crazy cheap LEGO Dimensions sets a lot of people crossed their fingers and hoped that those prices would still be around when wave 7 launched on November 18.

Well today is November 18th and those prices are still active!

LEGO Dimensions Glitch November 2016 Wave 7

You can get all of the new packs for super cheap prices, but as I said previously – there is no guarantee that LEGO will honour these prices. The fact that they haven’t fixed the prices yet may indicate that this is some kind of bizarre promotion.

LEGO Dimensions Super Cheap At LEGO Online, Maybe

Let me qualify this straight up – there is a fairly high chance that LEGO won’t honour these prices, but if you are LEGO Dimensions fan you might just want to give it a go.

Right now LEGO’s Australian online store has 6 different packs listed at ridiculously cheap prices. You can get the Ghostbusters Story Pack for $15. It’s $79.99 at EB Games. That should show you that these prices are not right.

Unfortunately the $200 free shipping limit still applies.

Once again – I am in no way promising that LEGO will honour these prices. Order at your own risk.

Free Christmas Gift From LEGO Online

If you needed further evidence of the rapid approach of Christmas then this offer from LEGO should do the trick. It’s not even November yet and LEGO are already offering Christmas bonuses.

From 23rd October 2016 until 20th November 2016 you will receive a free 40222 24-in-1 Christmas Builds set with orders over $120. The threshold is a little higher than some previous offers but with free shipping still set at $200 I imagine most people would be aiming for that anyway.

October 2016 Christmas 24in1

The 40222 24-in-1 set features parts to make 24 different Christmas inspired mini builds. It’s a great looking set and the fact that it is free is even better.

Don’t forget that the Double VIP points offer is still running until October 31st.

I’ve added some more pictures of the free set below.

Double VIP Offer Now Active

There is no mention of the offer on the site itself, but if you go to the checkout page on the Australian online LEGO store you should notice that the highly anticipated Double VIP point offer is now active.

To see how many points you’ll get you don’t need to finalise payment, just go to the checkout page. During this Double VIP Point period the points you earn should be more than the amount you spend ($1.50 = 2 points).

Double VIP October 2016

Dates are yet to be confirmed but this offer won’t run past the end of October, so get in quick. If you are looking to also grab the free London Bus set then be aware that it’s only available until October 22nd.

Rogue Friday Offer From LEGO Online

Last year Force Friday was a major event. There were midnight launches and a heap of excitement.

This year we have Rogue Friday, and things are a lot more subdued – including the Australian online LEGO store’s promotion.

You’ll get a free First Order Storm Trooper minifigure with all LEGO Star Wars Orders.

image

That’s right – to celebrate the launch of the Rogue One product line LEGO are giving away a minifigure from a different film.

It’s also worth mentioning that while some regions are getting triple VIP points, that doesn’t seem to be the case in Australia.

If you are after the Rogue One sets I think 20% Off at Myer trumps a free minifigure.
