Brick-a-laide Returns As Part of Kidz Gigantic Day Out

After starting out as a stand-alone event, this year Brick-a-laide will be part of a larger event called Kidz Gigantic Day Out.

The event will take place this Friday and Saturday (March 30th & 31st) at the Adelaide Convention centre.

The Brick-a-laide part of the event will be a major zone but the show will also feature a heap of other activities for kids too.

Brick-a-laide features an unbeatable line-up of brick creations by local and interstate modellers and builders as well as a range of LEGO retailers and play areas.

Tickets are $14 for adults (16 years and over) or $9 for kids. There is also a family pass of 2 adults and 2 kids available for $40. The ticket is for the full event, not just the Brick-a-laide zone. You can get your tickets here.

Brickvention 2018 Just One Week Away – Win Two Free Tickets

Every January there is a huge event that hits Melbourne. No, I’m not talking about the Australian Open – It’s Brickvention.

Celebrating it’s 12th year Brickvention 2018 will feature incredible displays from talented builders around the country. These displays will incorporate all of your favourite LEGO themes.

You will also be able to talk to the creatives behind the LEGO artworks, create your own visions in the exciting play zone, meet your favourite cosplay characters, visit the merchandise corner and let your imagination run wild.

Some sessions are already sold out.

Tickets for the event start at $18 for adults or $9 for Children (4 – 14). There are various options including free entry for Companion Card holders. Tickets can be purchased via TryBooking, and must be purchased online prior to the event.

Brickography Pop-Up Exhibition Hits Melbourne Next Weekend

Are you looking for something a little bit different to do next weekend?

Frostbricks, an Australian based LEGO Photography site, are hosting a special event called Brickography. The show is a combination of LEGO event and gallery exhibit.

Brickography features a range of fine-art photography from toy photographers around the world, displayed alongside the LEGO creations of Melbourne’s best brick artists.

The event runs next weekend (November 18 – 19th) with opening hours of 10am – 5pm on Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sunday. The venue for the event is Artboy Gallery, 99 Greville St, Prahran.

Special VIP event - As a special event for the AFOL community the show will be holding an opening night on Friday November 17th. The opening event is for the adult community and will have drinks available.

Competition: Win A Golden Ticket To Bricktober Perth 2017

Bricktober is a yearly event that showcases amazing LEGO creations by builders in Perth and brings the together the community of LEGO lovers young or old.

This year’s show will take place on October 7th & 8th at new venue Curtin Stadium (Kent St, Bentley WA 6102).

Bricktober Perth is a project of The Rotary Club of Ascot (Inc). Proceeds of the event will support programs for young children and other Rotary and Community Projects.

Tickets to the event are just $9.70 per person, or $28.80 for a family of 4. You can purchase your ticket via TryBooking.

Bricking Around has also been given 2 GOLDEN TICKETS to give away. The Family Golden Ticket (valid for a family of 4) will give you free entry into the public show on either Saturday 8th or Sunday 9th October 2017 at any time. As a golden ticket holder, you will enter the show through the special VIP entry.

Canberra Brick Expo – August 11-13th

Canberra may be known as the home of Australian politics, but it’s also home to some amazing LEGO builders. Builders who will be putting their skills on display at this year’s Canberra Brick Expo.

Brick Expo returns once again to  The Hellenic Club of Canberra in Woden.

After a successful schedule change last year, this year’s show will also run over three days: Fri 11th August 2017, 1:30pm to 6:00pm; Sat 12th August 2017, 9:00am to 6:00pm; and Sun 13th August 2017, 9:00am to 4:30pm.

There is also an adults only cocktail party on Saturday night.

Tickets are $6 for children and concession card holders and $12 for adults. There are two different family ticket options available – Family A (1 Adult + 3 Children) for $24.00 and Family B (2 Adults + 2 Children) for $30.00.

Tickets must be pre-purchased online from Trybooking.

Brick Expo is a not-for-profit event – all proceeds will assist the show’s major charity partner PaTCH to purchase much needed medical equipment for Paediatrics at the Canberra Hospital.

Sydney Brick Show 2017 – Win A Family Pass

The Sydney Brick Show returns to Sydney Town Hall these school holidays to bring joy to LEGO fans of all ages.

The show features 2,500m² of LEGO fun on two levels. Featuring new and original LEGO brick creations built by over 100 fans from Sydney and interstate.

First held in 2012, the annual fan event welcomes approx 15,000 visitors for an exciting day out. The Sydney Brick Show is a community event created by volunteer LEGO fans for people of all ages.

The show will feature unique pop-culture, nostalgia, sci-fi and ‘geekery’ builds, plus vintage LEGO displays from your childhood. There will also be retail opportunities, character appearances and giveaways. There will also be a cafe on-site for when you need a break.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $11 for juniors (2 – 16) and a family ticket (4 people) is available for $47. You can purchase your tickets from Ticketmaster. Read on for your chance to win one of two family passes.

The Sydney Brick Show is a not-for-profit event, presented in support of Bear Cottage, an initiative of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. 2017 show will continue this support, having donated over $60,000 since 2012. Volunteers and families from Bear Cottage will also be attending the event.

Canberra Brick Expo 2015

The Canberra Brick Expo is one of Australia’s biggest LEGO shows. Tickets regularly sell out for this event, so we want to give LEGO fans in the nation’s capital plenty of warning about this event.

Brick Expo is an entertaining and interesting exhibition of rare and unique LEGO® creations by interstate and local collectors and modellers. Hundreds of static, moving and robotic models in themes including: Star Wars™, Trains, Planes, Space Ships, Racing Cars, Monuments and Sculptures.

Brick Expo also features a premium VIP session that is more low key than the regular sessions with restricted numbers in attendance. This VIP evening caters for those who wish to view the exhibits but do not wish to be part of a large crowd.

Inside The Brick Bendigo This Weekend

It turns out that it’s not just Newcastle fans with a show to attend this weekend. We have received some late news that the Inside The Brick Bendigo show is also taking place this weekend.

Rediscover the magic of building and join Inside The Brick for a major exhibition of Models made from thousands of LEGO Bricks, a large hands on construction play zone and sets for sale.
