It’s time for another edition of the LEGO Club Magazine. Let’s have a look at what’s inside.
The Magazine
- First up there is a nice feature on the Galaxy Squad sets. Readers are provided with a nice description of some of the smaller details of the sets
- Hero Factory feature and a chance for readers to win a Hero Factory Brain Attack DVD
- Next up is a full page Castle themed maze
- There is a feature explaining the larger Hero Factory style Chima models
- Monster Truck Transporter and the Grand Prix Truck are featured in a race day themed feature
- Superman comic featuring LEGO Jimmy Olsen. This could be the first time we’ve seen a LEGO version of the character (who wasn’t in Man of Steel)
- Some great fan creations are once again featured in the Cool Creations section
- There are also 3 member reviews for the Ultimate Speedorz Tournament set
- Comic featuring the new Cargo sets and a very cute LEGO dog
- Brickman’s Corner – Some large creations from Ryan McNaught
- Mini Build – JEK-14 Stealth Starfighter
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic
- Feature on the Technic Service Truck set
- Feature on the Family House set
- Some interesting details on the battle specs of some Star Wars vehicles.
- Last but not least – An exclusive look at the new Ninjago sets. The key theme is “Rebooted” and readers get a good look at the new enemies, some vehicles as well as the new look for the ninja’s themselves.

Do you get polybags with the Lego Club?
I believe that in the past there has been the occasional LEGO included with the newsletter, but it seems to be a very rare occurrence. I have only been a subscriber for a year or so, and in that time I haven’t received any LEGO.
Geez what a waste of money then. I was hoping they had a free polybag for Mini Build – JEK-14 Stealth Starfighter.
Unfortunately not. The mini builds are just instructions.
There are occasionally “Join for free” offers available from retailers, but we aren’t aware of any at the moment.
My experience is that every Christmas issue has a polybag – apparently they have started differentiating between boy and girl members in terms of what you get. After 3-4 years, you should have your money back in bricks…
