2014 Toy Sales: 20% Off LEGO At Myer

The first of the 2014 mid-year toy sales has just started online.

Myer is kicking things off with a reasonable 20% off all LEGO. The big news isn’t so much the discount, it is the sets that they have got in stock for the sale. We have a list of the larger sets included in the sale below.

The sale is available online now (Tuesday 10th June 2014) and starts in store this Thursday (12th June 2014). The sale ends on the 20th July 2014.

In previous years there has been an extra 10% off for Myer One members, but we have not heard anything about this offer being available this year. If we do find out anything, we will update the article.

We have compared the sale prices to Amazon, as it can be one of the cheapest places to buy large LEGO sets. From our investigations, things are looking good for Australian consumers. Only one large set was cheaper via Amazon.

Amazon price based on standard currency conversion and delivery to Brisbane.

Thanks so much for doing the Amazon cross-check work, definitely saved me some time doing it myself too! 🙂

Now just to resist going to Myer… :S

They will give you the discount earlier than Thursday if you’re friendly! I went last night and got a few of these myself.

As a Myer member I can confirm you get an extra 10% off by presenting a voucher they e-mailed out yesterday. Which means I will be getting the Super Star Destroyer for under $500!

The email that was sent out this year specifically excludes LEGO from the extra 10% off.
