This is just a friendly reminder to our readers that the Big W toy sale kicks off online tonight at 7PM AEST. The site is currently offline in preparation, so hopefully Big W have measures in place to handle heavy traffic.
We also received an email this morning from Everyday Rewards, and it had some pretty great news; Everyday Rewards card holders can get the sale prices in store from today 19th June 2014 (Tomorrow). That’s right, you don’t need to order online or wait for the sale to start later this month. According to the email all you need to do is scan your card at the checkout to purchase items at the sale price. We haven’t been able to test this in-store ourselves, so it may be worth calling your local store before heading out. If you have an Everyday Rewards card we suggest checking your emails for more information.

We have updated the price table to show the RRP prices, and the discount off the RRP price. The reason for this is that Big W’s everyday prices can be lower than the standard RRP. A great example of this is the Bike Shop & Cafe set. Big W have this listed as $68, save $20, however the RRP is actually $99.99. It’s actually a better deal than it first appears.

The Bike Shop & Cafe seems to be one of the most popular offers of the sale.
It also appears set 60062 Arctic Icebreaker is a retail exclusive, meaning it most likely won’t be sold in any other stores in Australia. Quite a cool looking set!

Don’t hold me to that. 🙂 It may show up in other stores however availability will be limited (i.e like the modular series).
I got the same Everyday Rewards card email early this morning, and noticed that it said ‘starts today’, then lower down said ‘Offers run from 19 June’, but as there’s a store on my way home from work, I decided to give it a try tonight, to get the Creator Bike Shop, and can confirm that scanning your Everyday Rewards card already works today (18th June).
