There are quite a few highly anticipated sets scheduled for retail release in August, so we want to know what you have spotted?
With Guardians of The Galaxy in cinemas from today, we aren’t surprised to see that the LEGO sets have started to appear in stores as well. While out and about yesterday we spotted the Guardians sets in two different stores on Brisbane’s North side, and we have heard reports that they have started to appear in other stores across the country.
The following themes also have sets scheduled for August;
- Friends
- LEGO City Arctic
- LEGO City Trains
- Ninja Turtles
- The LEGO Movie
- Chima
- Star Wars

The GotG sets were on the shelf at Myers in Karrinyup, Perth yesterday.
I saw the 2 smaller GotG sets (but not the Milano Spaceship Rescue) at Toyworld, Docklands (VIC) last weekend.
I also did a quick lap of LEGO stockists at Chadstone today (e.g. TRU, Target, David Jones, Myer, & Kmart); I don’t follow Ninja Turtles, Chima or Star Wars, so I probably wouldn’t recognise new sets in those themes, but the only new sets I could find anywhere were the 3 GotG sets at Myer, and lots of bare shelves at most of ther others, particularly at TRU.
