Minecraft is one of the most popular games currently available, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that the new range of Minifigure scale Minecraft sets are proving to be popular. We have had quite a few people getting in touch to find out where the sets can be found.
The LEGO catalogue had these sets listed as a December release, but as Christmas approaches there seems to be no sign of them in the large chain stores. It seems unlikely that stores would be holding these for after Christmas.
Luckily there are still options available for those keen to grab the sets before Christmas.
Outer Rim Trading Co
This Brisbane based online retailer may be the best option for those looking to get the sets online. Unlike the other options on this list ORTCo. are offering the various sets for slightly below RRP. With affordable shipping options you may still come out ahead compared to the other retailers.
Outer Rim are also running a Christmas Competition where you can win back the cost of your order.
Shopforme
It’s great to be able to promote multiple independent LEGO retailers. Shopforme are based in Melbourne, and also have a physical store to go with their online presence. For non-locals they also offer free shipping when you spend over $150. All of the sets are listed at the regular RRP.
You can check out their range here
Mr Toys
We have personally seen some of the Minecraft sets on the shelf of the Jindalee store in Brisbane, so your local store may also have stock. The products are also listed on the Mr Toys website, and priced at RRP.
Toys R Us
We aren’t aware of any in-store sightings, but the sets are listed on the Toys R Us website. You can’t actually buy the sets online but we hope the listing is a sign that stores are expecting stock. It might be worth calling your local store and asking about availability.
Target
As mentioned by Tan Tile in the comments below, the sets are also listed on the Target website. Prices are slightly below RRP (see table below). They also have Click & Collect available, but if you are using this option you may need to get in quick as the website says this can take up to 10 days.
Below is a table with prices for the retailers listed above.

21116 | Crafting Box | $79.99 | $74.99 | $79.99 | $79.99 | $79.99 | $79.00 |
21117 | The Ender Dragon | $99.99 | $94.99 | $99.99 | $99.99 | $99.99 | $90.00 |
21118 | The Mine | $139.99 | $129.99 | $139.99 | $139.99 | $139.99 | $129.00 |
They are also online at Target…. listed at full RRP (a couple listed $10 cheaper then RRP) even though there is a 20% off ATM http://www.target.com.au/search?text=Minecraft
Thanks for that. I will update the article with the extra info.
Stock will also be back in 2015, so if it is not required for Christmas don’t pay third party scalping prices for sold out items.
What about the Exo-Suit? Has anyone found it anywhere other than the AU LEGO store? I can’t justify their ridiculous shipping costs!
I can’t see it at target anymore
I’ve ordered some of Lego Minecraft off Lego shop AU – it was shipped on dec 1st, What are shipping times like at this time of the year to Australia from Lego – it was well before their advertised cut off point for receiving goods for Xmas day?
If it was shipped on the 1st it should hopefully arrive by Christmas.
