Mixed news for Marvel fans hanging out for the Helicarrier set – while there were some early rumours that this set would be available for VIPs as a pre-release today, LEGO has instead decided to do a pre-order.
This means that VIP members can pre-order the set today (19th February 2015), but it won’t be shipped until March 1st.
It can be hard to predict the popularity of large and expensive sets like this but if you are a VIP member and planning on getting this set it might be a good idea to take advantage of the pre-order just in case it does sell out. We’d hate for LEGO fans to miss out.
In other news, we added one of these to our cart and were surprised to see 5002943 LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier added as a promotional bonus.
