We’ve gone through this weeks catalogues and they are all about Mother’s Day; for some reason that means a lack of LEGO sales. Mums can like LEGO too!
Luckily it’s not all bad. There are a few Age of Ultron sets reduced at Big W to cash in on people who have just seen the movie.
This sale runs from today (Thursday April 30th 2015) until Wednesday May 6th.

Big W Stafford City does not have any of the Marvel AoU sets (the staff member I talked to said they never got any in in the last delivery). Big W Chermside had about 6 of the Showdown sets, a couple of the Quinjet sets, and about 4 of the Tower sets on the shelf (not sure if they had any more in the back), but are sold out of Iron Man vs Ultron. I couldn’t be bothered checking any of the other Big W’s on the northside of Brisbane.
Luckily, when I went to Aspley Toys’r’Us for another set, they were willing to price match the Iron Man set. BTW, they had several of set 70163 Ultra Agents Toxikita’s Toxic Meltdown on clearance for $35.98, which is a 40% saving from the RRP of $59.99.
