Here’s an unexpected surprise – on the same day the Big W catalogue officially launches we have the 2015 Toy Sale catalogue from Toys R Us. It’s good to see that the retailers aren’t placing all of their sales at different times of the year.
A reasonable range of LEGO featured in the catalogue. There doesn’t seem to be any big must have exclusive, but a couple of sets that are marked as Toys R Us exclusives. The 10242 Mini Cooper could have been a popular item, but at less than 20% off it’s a little underwhelming.
You’ll notice in our sale listing below that several items are marked [VIP] – these are prices only for VIP members, so if you are planning to pick up one of those sets remember to have your VIP details with you.
Sales Period
This sale runs from Wednesday June 24th 2015 until Tuesday July 14th.
We have been told that there is a VIP pre-sale event on Tuesday 23rd for all registered VIP club members (Thanks Brad). We’ll try and find more details of this.
Offers
There is no broad discount on LEGO products, but plenty of items in the catalogue at 20% off.
Toys R Us are also offering a 10% price-beat offer if you can find a lower advertised price on the items in the catalogue. We’ll be looking in to that for readers soon.
