While all the LEGO game news has been focussed on LEGO Dimensions, there is another exciting LEGO gaming experience coming out soon – LEGO Marvel’s Avengers.
Due to licensing issues it seems unlikely that we are going to get Marvel’s characters in LEGO Dimensions, but that doesn’t stop them appearing in their own game.
This will be the first console videogame featuring characters and storylines from Marvel’s The Avengers and Age of Ultron films. The game doesn’t just feature characters from the films though; there are some Marvel characters that aren’t yet part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as current Ms Marvel Kamala Khan, the new female Thor and Squirrel Girl.
The game will be released for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Windows PC on January 27, 2016 in Australia via participating retailers.
If you pre-order the game at an EB Games store, you will also receive an exclusive Silver Centurion Minifigure.
