School holidays are just about to kick off across the country and right on schedule we have some new LEGO sales kicking off this week. First up we have all the deals from Big W. While it’s not a broad 20% off sale like they ran recently, there are still some decent savings to be had.
This sale runs from Thursday September 17th until Wednesday September 30th.
For those of you who still haven’t picked up the Force Awakens set – the full range are included in the catalogue and discounts range from 18 – 25% off.

As always, thank you for the comprehensive sales info, Big W seem to be stepping up to the plate recently when it comes to force awakens Lego, cudos to them. Now if anyone in Melbourne could point me to a store that actually has any stock that would be great 🙂
Incidentally this might be the most financially competitive, non-Christmas, school holdiday I can remember. FA and Scooby Doo Lego, Lego Dimensions and the terrifyingly vast and expensive add on packs (plus skylanders, for those whose kids interests lean that way) and the Melbourne show. Time to crack open the ‘big parenting book of how to say no – and mean it’
I certainly feel for parents who have kids interested in LEGO and games. I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of “maybe Santa can get you that pack?” going on 🙂
I tried that with my son recently over a ninjago set, he considered my comment for a moment and replied “we don’t need to bother Santa with this, he’s far too busy at the moment, we can just pick this set up now ourselves, problem solved” ….I found it’s very hard to then say no when you’re laughing
Big W @ Eastland did not have much in the way of stock of any of the Force Awakens sets when I looked on Sunday, just a couple of Tie Fighters. The best thing about local competition though is price matching. I can tell you that (as of this morning) Myer Eastland had stock of all the Force Awakens sets as well as most of the other hard to get sets such as the Friends Heartlake Hotel which Big W currently has for $148. My advice would be go to Myer, they will price match Big W : )

Good luck finding any in stock. My local Big W was almost all sold out of the new Star Wars stuff during the weekends 20% off toys sale.
Too bad this site did not have this 20% weekend sale reported here. I would have gone to the store in an instant!
Shame we could not also get all these online at the price. I just called several stores and none have the Millennium Falcon or the KWIK eMart Simpson sets..

Sad.. called my local bigW no stock for most except for the transporter
Kmart will price match! I told them Big W had the Star Wars at the discounted prices in store and they were happy to match the pricing provide you showed them evidence which i did from the link on this site. I Was able to grab two Millennium Falcons for $198.00 each.
My Birthday is in November, so I am trying to convince my parents to by the sets I would like now, then give them to me on my birthday
Thanks Target ! They just priced matched against the Simpson Kwik e mart price from Big W as well and so I was able to snap it up for $268.00 at my local target tonight. Super happy! Thanks to this site for making it happen.
