This isn’t exactly LEGO related but with a current sale on there’s a chance that some of our readers have recently placed orders with David Jones.
We’ve just learned via Gizmodo Australia that the David Jones website has been compromised and customer details stolen.
According to a statement from David Jones there were no financial details or passwords included in the stolen data. Hackers obtained customer names, email addresses, order details and mailing address.
If you have placed an order with David Jones recently please take the time to check your emails for an email from them. They are currently contacting affected customers via the email address you use for purchases with them.
Please note that David Jones will never ask you for your password or financial details via phone or email. If you are contacted by somebody requesting that information hang up or delete the email and contact David Jones yourself.
