If you are a Myer One member chances are you received an email from Myer yesterday. Unfortunately the extra 10% offer mentioned excludes LEGO but a little further down there are details of an event that should make little LEGO fans happy.
On Saturday October 24th Myer will be holding a Ninjago Make & Take event.
Places are limited and the event is only running at the following Myer stores: Melbourne, Sydney, Macquarie, Southland, Perth, Morley, Adelaide, Tea Tree Plaza, Brisbane, Carindale and Hobart.
Well, isn’t that a lovely slap in the face to the ACT!!
Myer has stores in seven out of eight states/territories. No store in the NT apparently. However, for an event like this they cannot arrange for one to be held in the ACT, but can for every other jurisdiction in which they are present?!
I can understand that it simply isn’t possible to conduct such events at every store, but I really think companies like Myer should try to make more of an effort not to discriminate against a particular state/territory. PR wise it just suggests that Myer doesn’t feel the ACT is as deserving of their focus as others.
