The “Australian” lego store is based in Europe. Chancy hoping it will come by Christmas. I think this is dishonest. I rang the 1800 number on the linked website, the options (pre recorded) are all done by an Australian woman, who sounds like she is just down the road. Then I spoke to a very nice man, from Europe. That is where the products are coming from. I’ve been caught out before, so I’m cautious now. So disappointed.
According to the lego site, today was the cut off to confirm pre-xmas delivery.
Would love this set, but $30 for postage from Lego is ridiculous.

I’ve heard conflicting reports about an in-store release before Christmas. I’ll look into it.
Yesterday i have been to Myer, David Jones, Big W, Target, Hobbyco in Sydney, none of them have it in store.
It was spotted at a Toys R Us store in Melbourne

I finally got it from Macquarie Myers today!! This means that it is actually in store in Australia, just bloody hard to find! p.s. Mine is the last box left …
Remember to compare prices. Watch out at Toys R Us. They are charging $89.99. Then they will price match promise… has to be in the same area, on same day and a number of other clauses, including it has to be in stock physical store ( not online). It’s $10.00 above the price online… A complex clause considering they promise the best price.
