We know that there have been a lot of people hanging out for the 2016 sets scheduled for release in January. From the reports that we have read they are making their way into stores, but it seems to be a bit of a slow process.
That’s why dedicated LEGO retailers are great – they understand that people are always hanging out for new sets and are able to get new stock listed a lot quicker than the national chains.
We received an email from Brisbane based online retailer Outer Rim Trading Co last night letting us know that they have listed a heap of the new 2016 sets and all for slightly lower than RRP.
There are new Star Wars, City and Ninjago sets in the listing as well as the newest series of collectible minifigures. We’ve included a full list of the sets below. You can check out the range for yourself here.

Thanks for the shout out! Sealed boxes of Series 15 Minifigs sold out in record time, however stock is available to purchase on back order for the second shipment.
All the new Star Wars sets are available at Target. I’ve seen some of them at Big W & Myer too. Just waiting now for the next 20% off sale!
Grabbed a couple new minifigs from Mr Toys Chermside last night, so many cool figures in this series!
Brisbane Myer has these stocked on the shelves as well.
Looks like they are certainly starting to spread. Hopefully they will start appearing in catalogues and websites soon.
What about the new super hero sets ?
There will be at least 3x DC sets in Feb, and the remaining DC and Marvel sets release in March.
I still haven’t seen any of the new creator sets in the wild yet however.

Just saw all the new Star Wars Lego getting put on shelves yesterday at Target Camberwell (VIC).
Loving the prices on Outer Rim Trading Co. though – will definitely be looking here for my next purchase.
I guess my question is when you will get the GBFH?
Shopforme were selling the Ghostbusters Firehouse HQ at Brickvention this morning for $550! Captive market I guess but why anyone would pay $51 above rrp and forfeit VIP points from Lego S@H is beyond me.
