Potential Offers For March And April Revealed

Over in the UK they have the luxury of physical LEGO stores as well as LEGO store calendars that outline the upcoming promotions. While we don’t have physical stores here, we do generally follow the UK’s lead when it comes to promotions – we just only get them online.

The latest calendar for March and April is now available and it shows what potential promotions we can look forward to.

March 1 – 31: Free Nexo Knights Knight’s Cycle with any Nexo Knights Purchase.
We’re not sure what the $AU spend will be but any of the Nexo Knights sets should qualify. The Knight’s Cycle set is set number 30371.

April 1 – 30: Free 100 Bonus VIP Points with any purchase
If you are planning on spending hundreds then you might be disappointed this isn’t double VIP points, but 100 bonus points isn’t too bad

March 1 – 31: Free Easter Minifigure
It looks like LEGO is going to be re-releasing the Chicken Suit minifigure as a special Easter promotion. The bunny suit may have made more sense but this offer is still likely to be popular. The Australian spend requirement is likely to be fairly low. The LEGO Easter minifigure is set number 5004468.

April 1 – 30: Free Classic TV Series Mr Freeze
This offer is likely to upset anybody that has already purchased the Classic TV Series Batcave. A new minifigure that perfectly matches the set is going to available with any DC Comics purchase. The threshold for this one is likely to be $75 – $100, which is below the free shipping cutoff anyway. The Mr Freeze minifigure is set number 30603.

There’s a rumour elsewhere on the web that it is both the chicken suit and the bunny suit that is on offer with a random chance to get either. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

There are few things I want from Lego Online that either will not make it to stores or were only available for a short time – so disappointed with the 100 VIP points – was really hoping for double points. $150 gets me 100 points, but I need $200 for free shipping – it is probably a really good deal for anywhere else, where the cap is less than $150 for free shipping (just purchase multiple lots).

Gee I hope Australia follows the US and gets double VIP points. The current 2 x VIP points on 60109 Fireboat and 60130 Prison Island end on the 6th March which lines up nicely with the double VIP points period of 7th – 22nd March in the US. Fingers crossed.
