First Look At Disney Minifigure Series

The picture below was posted on the Brickset forum earlier today. This is our first look at the long rumoured Disney Collectible Minifigure series.

Disney Collectible Minifigures

The lineup is an interesting mix of classic Disney and some newer characters. Here’s the lineup: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Aladdin, Genie, Ariel, Ursula, Buzz Lightyear, Pizza Planet Alien, Mr Incredible, Syndrome, Alice, Cheshire Cat, Stitch and Maleficent.

Let us know in the comments what you think of this series.

I love it, take my money now. A very excellent start. Hope they do another series with more classic characters like goofy, pluto, huey/dewey/louie, beagle boys, uncle scrooge, etc though.

A great mix. We were hoping for the Mad Hatter, maybe next time?

For anyone on the Gold Coast, the Mr Toys at Australia Fair usually sells the whole series for the same price as if you got them individually, just without the guess work/chance of doubles ( or triples, Zombie Businessman I’m looking at you).

Must have. Haha! Genie may end up being worth a bit in years to come.

Disappointed that they took the easy route and included Buzz Lightyear and the Pizza Planet Alien. They have already been available through the Toy Story sets. Yes, I can see this Buzz looks a little different, but given this is the first Disney Minifigures series they could have given us some other characters we haven’t seen before.

Beyond that one gripe, they look good and will be worth collecting. Loving Syndrome!

Meh. I’m sure they will be popular purely because its Disney. Are Mickey, Minnie, Daffy and Daisy suppose to represent humans wearing the costumes? The head molds look oddly over-sized to me, at least compared to the ‘human’ characters.

    Interesting that there are 18!
I hope there will still be 3 full sets in a box.
It’s going to be awkward to display with the previous collector minifigures.
Does Stich have 4 or 6 limbs – either way he’s a must have for me.
If it was up to me I would have given Buzz and the alien a miss since they already exist but I guess that was a few years ago now.
They will be a welcome addition to my collection.

This series will be a great one to buy a box and save it for a few years. Disney collectors are mad for anything Disney.
