Canberra LEGO fans have a unique opportunity this weekend – you can see some great LEGO displays and support great cause.
Bricks @ The Woden School, presented by The Canberra LEGO User Group and the Woden School Parents & Citizens Association, is a fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy and a special needs school. The Woden School is responsible for delivering Individual Learning Programs for over 100 hundred students including a transitions program for year 10’s into a support unit within a mainstream college and year 12’s into the community.
There will be LEGO displays, a LEGO play area, LEGO building competitions, Val the talented LEGO guitar player, facepainting, yummy food and great coffee for the grown ups!
The event is held at the school (127 Denison Street, Deakin) on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March. Ticket prices are just $3 for children and $5 per adult. A family ticket is also available for $10.
