The comments from yesterday’s article about 42056 had a very reliable source for the Australian RRP and that price has now been confirmed with the product page on the online LEGO store.
The set will be released June 1st and cost Australian LEGO fans $499.99.
There has already been plenty of discussion about the price but let us know in the comments what you think.

Lego have made their position quite clear – they do not give a rats @/^^ about Australia and it does not appear that they are prepared to entertain any discussion on the matter.
Nothing we say or do is going to change a thing!
That said – it’s amazing and I will probably paid their extortion to have one!

I just hope I never see it in store. Its easy for me to say “it costs too much, I’m not getting it.”, but I always give in when I see the product in person.
Way to $ for me. It looks good, but not $500 good. People will still buy it though.
@ 20% off, it will fly off the shelves. @ full retail it probably won’t move as quick.
I will probably have to sell my spare 41999 to fund this.
Recently see the made set in a Lego store in the UK and yes it is expensive, but the price is the same in the UK, so it is what it is. I will be buying it that’s for sure looks amazing built????
