I’ve been hearing rumours about this all week, but now that signs have been spotted in store it seems a lot more real.
Update – This sale has now been confirmed. Both online and in-store. Check out the only range here.
This weekend (July 9 & 10) Myer are reportedly offering 30% off the regular price of all LEGO. This seems to include Myer exclusive sets too.
30% off is a great discount and the fact that it’s all LEGO – things could get crazy.
No confirmation that this is going to be online but hopefully it will be.
Good luck to everybody heading in store.
Thanks Mark and David for the information
Confirmed online and in store – woo hoo!
10%, 20%, now 30%. Myer, r u fucking kidding me?
Yeah! That’s crazy! I bought Brick Bank at 20% on line at Myer Friday evening to find out the following Sunday when I head to Myer to pick up the brick bank all Lego ha 30% off. I saw the Ferrari & got it with 30% off. But when I check the Brick bank online its out of stock.
Just a heads up people, I had a bit of a bad experience with Myer. I ordered the Brick Bank and Ferrari for click and collect. I then telephoned the store to make sure that they had sufficient stock and was told before store opening hours that they did. However, when I finally got my ‘your order is ready for collection’ email it was for the Ferrari only as they had over subscribed the Brick Bank buy about 50 click and collect orders. This was in Brisbane. I complained to the store and an arrangement has been made re the stock but apparently both the online store and click and collect orders were oversubscribed throughout Brisbane and maybe even nationally. I hope none of you out there are in my situation and will wind up disappointed but if you ordered like I did either online or click and collect and haven’t had confirmations yet you may want to contact Myer and make a special arrangement. My arrangement involved having them honour the 30% off price when they get fresh stock of the Brick Bank.
The same thing happened to me with a Myer sale. They kept passing me around and telling me it wasn’t online Myer’s fault it was the stores, the store wouldn’t get back to me and when I did get through they would transfer me to different people and never answer. I never ended up giving me the items or a refund of my money. It was only $15 so I couldn’t be bothered following it up (although I tried going through the Office of Consumer and Business Affairs but they never got back to me).
Bottom line is I never go back to Myer. These good deals look promising but too many stories like mine. I can afford the $15 loss but any more than that would negate any deals I ever get from them.
I personally hope they never do this sale again, cost me a fortune ! ;P
@Rain, I am a little shocked that you are annoyed about a great sale. I know I purchased a couple of things at the 20% and just happy to have the opportunity to get a couple more at even less. Given the sales that other retailers are offering, I am personally very happy.
I was lucky enough to get a Brick Bank, Ferrari and a couple of other things I had delayed purchasing.
Thanks Michael, I may have missed this without your post 🙂
