Australian Online LEGO Store Gets A Facelift

If you head over to the Australian online LEGO store you will notice that things look a little different.

Australian Online Store New Design

After rolling out the new design in other regions the new site is now up and running for Australian shoppers.

LEGO have created a video to show off some of the changes.

The mobile version of the website is definitely much more improved. As for the online version, I still prefer the old version where the Theme sets module is seen right away versus the new version where we have to go to Sets first for pull down. Hate the extra step.

Most important part we Australian needs is not the redesign website but we need the Sales & Deals section to actually contains stuffs and not just empty. That is what we really needs.

I noticed that the minimum spend for free shipping has doubled to $400 that’s a big negative! Maybe it’s time to reduce the shipping cost or centralise some stock in Australia to reduce shipping time or cost to make that new prerequisite limit bump worth it.

I have heard that the $400 figure is a mistake. I’ll follow this up with LEGO

Does anyone know how to quickly navigate to the ‘seasonal’ items now? The ‘categories’ dropdown has been renamed and reduced a lot, can’t seem to find it directly or by searching. It was one of my regular page refreshes lol.

Not necessary & has been made more difficult rather than simpler.
Have LEGO heard “If it ain’t broke then don’t fix”.
Am awaiting the $400 spend for free shipping to be confirmed…..
I can only hope that this is one Gigantic mistake.
