Back in April I ran a short crowdfunding campaign to help raise some funds for the site. This is just a little update to thank those people who donated to the campaign and outline how the funds will be used.
Thank You
In total there were five contributions to the campaign, and I would like to thank each of them.
- Stephen A – a great guy and also a great builder.
- Max T – I don’t know Max well, but I really appreciate his support.
- Gavin L – A name I recognise from several LEGO groups. Your donation is really appreciated.
- Amanda F – I know that Amanda is a regular reader of the site and Facebook page. Thank you Amanda.
- Kas M – Kas is an Australian BrickLink store owner. You can check out her store here.
Funds Allocation
In total there was $75 donated to the campaign. After Indiegogo and PayPal fees that works out to about $70.
The campaign outlined a few goals and while $70 isn’t a huge amount, I plan to put all of the funds towards those goals.
Technical equipment – I have been able to purchase a new small light-box. This will be useful for taking photos of small to medium sized sets. I also have a few other equipment purchases planned.
LEGO products to review – I purchased two of the Woolworths Polybags and plan to pick up a couple more small sets.
More competitions – I have a competition running right now.
