Bricking Around Turns 4

Yesterday was Bricking Around’s 4th birthday, but with the Myer sale kicking off I didn’t get a chance to post anything.

Since the first post on June 13th 2013 this site has grown beyond what I ever thought possible, including becoming a Recognised LEGO Fan Media site.

This is also a great opportunity to give you an update on some new things on the site…

Set Lookup tool

I’ve just launched the first version of a new set lookup tool. This page will enable you to find out information about a set, including the Australian RRP. The page will also display historical sales information based on the catalogues that I cover on this site. You’ll be able to see if a set is currently on sale in any catalogues as well as see how frequently that set is discounted. The page also includes a quick link to the current sales page, so that you can see if there are any percentage off sales on.

You can view the set lookup tool here.

2017 Toy Sale HQ

With the first of the 2017 toy sales now underway the Bricking Around 2017 Toy Sale HQ is now active. As more retailers release their catalogues this will be a central place to keep track of the offers.

360° Views

A new feature that I plan to include in reviews is a 360° look of the particular set or minifigure that I am reviewing. You can see the first example of this in my DC Comics Awesome Guide book review.

Thanks to everybody that reads this site. Bricking Around wouldn’t exist without your support.

    Woo! Happy anniversary!
The set lookup tool is really useful for me since I usually have to check around several stores to find the best price for a set I want.
