LEGO Looking For Giveaway Suggestions

Everybody knows that LEGO regularly have giveaways on their online store. These bonuses help tempt people to buy at RRP from the official online store. There have been some great giveaways in the past, and there have been some less great ones too.

Now LEGO is directly reaching out to the adult LEGO fan community for suggestions on future giveaways. They have asked partners like this site to find out what people want in a giveaway. I’ll collect your suggestions and then pass on the top 5. Enter your suggestion in the form below and then I will provide a poll to help finalise the top 5.

I’ll be taking suggestions until October 24th, and then from then until October 30th I will feature a poll of your suggestions.

Your suggestion can be anything that LEGO might produce – that mean no new IP and no suggestions that violate LEGO’s rules (drugs, nudity, war etc). More detail is available at the end of the article if you are still unsure.

More Information

Ideas to themes within the current LEGO portfolio are welcome: LEGO Star Wars, LEGO DC Comics™ Super Heroes including original characters and LEGO created IPs, such as LEGO Friends, LEGO NEXO Knights, and LEGO Elves, are allowed.
Ideas should be compatible with the current LEGO system of play. This means that all ideas have to be possible to execute with the current portfolio of bricks & LEGO Minifigures.

Please remember to consider the LEGO brand values. This means no:

  • Politics and political symbols, campaigns, or movements
  • Religious references including symbols, buildings, or people
  • Sex, nudity, drugs, alcohol or smoking
  • Swearing or profanity
  • Death, killing, blood, terrorism, horror, or torture
  • First-person shooter video games
  • Warfare or war vehicles in any modern or present-day situation, or national war memorials
  • Large or human-scale weapons or weapon replicas of any kind, including swords, knives, guns, sci-fi or fantasy blasters, etc.
  • Racism, bullying, or cruelty to real life animals

Are there any limits to how big the set could be? Ex. “large model of the London Bridge”
The ideas should not be size specific. Focus should be on idea, not final model.

I would like to see Lego offer sets in a similar format to the Dimensions fun packs- a minifigure and a micro build of an iconic set (like the micro galaxy explorer)

  2. Liz says:

I would like to see interesting people sets to add to my builds – lady scientist, dad with stroller, sushi cook, lady train engineer, woman in karate uniform, kids with kite/balloon – just some more to go with either Holiday Village, Creator buildings, or re-peopling my niece’s friends sets with traditional minifigs so I can mix Creator, holiday and Friends.
