An interesting new competition, with a really cool prize, has just popped up on the LEGO site.
LEGO are giving away two Platinum LEGO R2-D2 figurines and all you need to do is provide your email address, date of birth and country. There is no purchase necessary to enter this draw.
There will be two grand prize winners who will each receive a LEGO® Star Wars™ R2-D2™ Figurine made of platinum, presented with certificate of authenticity in a custom display case. This isn’t just a regular LEGO R2-D2 with a coating. The approximate retail value of each prize is £2,500 (over $4000 AU).
Odds of winning are going to be incredibly slim, but the prize is something that there are literally only two of in the whole world.

I can’t insert my birthdate because there is an error in their form.
What is the error? I just tested this in Chrome on PC and it worked. Perhaps try a different browser?
I encountered the same error as you Marsha, using an iPad. There is a bug which doesn’t allow the input of dates.
I also used Chrome on PC and it was submitted successfully.
I had the same issue with iphone. Used chrome was fine.
It doesn’t work with iPhone. I tried the link from other sites too. The real dollar value of these is going to be Astro(mech)nomical!
