January in Melbourne is known for it’s tennis, unless you are an AFOL – then it’s all about Brickvention.
The annual showcase of amazing LEGO creations returns to the Royal Exhibition Building (Nicholson Street, Carlton) this weekend (January 19-20).
Some sessions are already sold out but there should still be plenty of tickets available. Adult tickets are $18, Child (4-14) tickets are $9.00 and children 3 years and under are free.
If you are a massive fan you may be interested in a Two Day Pass. These cost $54 for adults and $36 for kids. The two day pass comes with a special VIP gift and 10% off at the various merchandise stands.

If you are heading along don’t forget to bring some minifigures! This year’s event will feature the world’s largest minifigure swap.
