Myer are back with another Super Weekend.
On offer is a better than usual 25% off. Unfortunately the higher discount also comes with a wider range of exclusions.
The 25% off sale only covers City, Duplo, Friends, Ninjago, Juniors, Jurassic World, Creator, Classic, Super Heroes, Disney Princess and Minecraft.
As this is a Super Weekend offer it will start in-store tomorrow (March 30th). Ends Sunday.
Star Wars is excluded to protect the rrp on new April sets I presume. But wouldn’t it make more sense to discount at release and snag sales from other retailers who are? You see it with new game releases; price is low early in product life cycle because of intense competition. And why MYER is still excluding Harry Potter is beyond me, they are clogging shelves everyone I look.
The key to understanding Myer sales is they do the opposite of what makes sense.
It helps to explain why they are seemingly about two Super Weekend’s away from extinction. ????
