Toys R Us Is Back – And Worth A Look

The tagline for the film Pet Sematary is “Sometimes dead is better”. I’m pleased to say that on first impressions that doesn’t seem to be true for the revived Toys R Us.

The new online store has gone live today with a fairly broad LEGO offering. Most of which seems to be advertised at slightly below RRP.

The store is also advertising a LEGO City Fire ATV bonus when your total is over $50 and includes LEGO. I am not sure if there are any of these still available as it does say it’s limited to 1000.

You can check out the LEGO range for yourself here.

Here’s a few of their prices…

Fantastic! I’ve ordered some items that will fills holes in my collection. GWP was still active when I ordered on Thursday morning.

I take the ^ back; I put my order in and then got a message saying that I had to verify my credit card. It’s been 10 hours since I tried to order the sets and TRU AU still haven’t sorted the verification out, so my order is still pending. I’ve been in touch with customer service and their advice is to wait. I hope it doesn’t get cancelled.

All sorted now – the delay was with my bank. The customer service I had through TRU AU was pretty good. My order is on its way now. Yay.
