This Year’s Christmas Creator Expert Set Is 10267 Gingerbread House

LEGO have tonight unveiled this year’s Christmas Creator Expert set and while it’s a bit of a departure from the more grounded set from last year, I personally think it’s fantastic.

Introducing 10267 Gingerbread House

This 1477 piece set features a Gingerbread couple, their gingerbread baby and their fully furnished gingerbread house.

There is some fantastic external and internal styling here. It’s packed with charm and I love the way LEGO have created that gingerbread aesthetic.

I absolutely love this set! I haven’t splashed out on a Winter Village set before, but I reckon I will for this one. It’s awesome! I might have to find it on sale tho, eek!

I don’t have any of the Winter Village sets as there were too many which were retired and unaffordable by the time I came out of the Dark Ages (and I knew I’d want to be a completest), but the fact that this is a very different, more … fantastical / less realistic style makes it very tempting.

I’m not sure about the gingerbread baby though … that’s a bit odd.

Not sure how this is going to look in the village, it is a departure in style. I think I prefer the small GWP one from a few years back, which of course I didn’t get :(.

Agree re the baby. Strange choice given we have baby pieces now.

I do like the internal details on a the winter village sets. Lots of thought gone into those.

Price creeps up every year too, sadly.

What a delightful set! As our family has only really got back into Lego since Lego Masters, I’ve been looking forward to perhaps picking up our first Winter Village set. This is a little bit of a different take, but it has so much appeal to both adults and kids and is such a fun and classic Christmas theme. Love it. Looks good enough to eat!
