I have recently been playing around with the Amazon API to create a tool that will list Amazon offers and I just wanted to share the progress with you all.
Currently this is a standalone page but I will be working to integrate this better in to the main Bricking Around site.
The offers page will list items sold by Amazon Australia with a discount of over 25%.
If you’ve got any suggestions for how to improve this let me know.
Great tool idea. Keeping it limited to products sold by Amazon is a great way to avoid false positive “discounted” marketplace items that are still over RRP.
If there is a way to include marketplace items that are 25% off RRP (not their usual store price) that would be amazing. Not my area of expertise but I can see that this is probably a big ask.
Looks great
An awesome initiative, thank you. Amazon’s prices can fluctuate seemingly without warning, so this is a great way to keep tabs on what’s really on sale.
Looks great! Can get some fantastic deals on Amazon if you time it right.
Any chance to have filters, or just sorting?
Nice work anwyay.
If you are looking to provide sorting etc, check out https://datatables.net/ – that way it can be all client side and you don’t have to change any real server code (that’s what I use for similar projects).
Are you looking to publish the code at all? I’d love to get some alerts etc, but would rather be hitting Amazon’s API directly rather than hitting your site and chewing up your bandwidth 🙂
Thanks for the tip. I will check that out.
Hey Michael, just testing the page.
Any reason why this 26% off Amazon AU item isn’t on the list/page?

That’s a great question… I’ll see if I can work out why
Thats that will be very useful, thank you. I have tried to subscribe to your newsletter but got an error. Also would be great if we could somehow get email notification when new deals arrive at amazon, but I know that is asking a big much probably. Thanks I enjoy your site, keep up the good work
