Were you wondering if LEGO and Nintendo were going to do another large model to follow on from the question mark block and NES? Well in a surprise reveal the next set is something I certainly didn’t expect… 71411 The Mighty Bowser.
This 2807 piece set is an awesome recreation of Mario’s mortal enemy slash occasional tennis rival.
The set is officially released on October 1st and will set us back $399.99 here in Australia.
While this is primarily a display piece there are some play features. Bowsers head will move from side to side when buttons are pressed on his back and he can also launch a fireball from his mouth.
There is no minifigure Mario included unfortunately.
