10326 Natural History Museum is the next modular building

One of the most anticipated LEGO news items every year is the announcement of the new modular building. Well I am excited to announce that you’ll be able to add 10326 Natural History Museum to your collection from December 1st.

The set features 4014 pieces, making it the largest modular ever (by piece count). That unfortunately does translate to a high price tag of $449.99.

The interior includes a mix of exhibitions that you’d expect to find at a museum. One highlight is definitely the massive Brachiosaurus skeleton. I personally love the space section.

Here’s the official information from LEGO:

The LEGO Icons Natural History Museum Set is the perfect addition to the LEGO Modular Buildings Collection, and features fresh architecture, new building techniques and countless fun stories. The two-story model includes dual atriums, a removable roof and middle floor, and is packed with brick-built exhibits and details.

To the right of the entrance, visitors are welcomed by a giant brick-built Brachiosaurus skeleton. This dinosaur is so large, its neck rises above the first floor and stretches into the second. It’s flanked by several smaller exhibits including a sabretooth skull, a fossil, and yes, even dinosaur eggs. Up on the landing, the museum’s geology section showcases a colourful array of quartz, geodes, stalagmites and spotlighting a cutaway of the earth and its molten core.

Heading up to the second floor, witness a large map of the planet showing the projected orbit of a new rocket, a detailed orrery of the solar system, and a diorama of a future space base. Up on the roof, the museum’s curator recounts their experiences and travels in their detailed office writing memoirs.

Get ready to go on a journey from the past to the future and celebrate key moments in world history with the LEGO Icons Natural History Museum Set.
