LEGO have launched a new landing page for the up-coming LEGO Wicked sets. There is not a lot of detail but two important facts are revealed…
Firstly, the LEGO Wicked sets will be released on October 1st 2024. Hopefully we will get a full look at the sets well before then. It’s a long wait but I am guessing LEGO wanted to capitalise on the recent release of the movie trailer.
The second reveal is going to be polarising; The sets will feature minidolls rather than minifigures. We have already seen minifigure versions of the wicked witch and flying monkeys so I am excited to see what they do with the minidolls.
I always prefer normal minifig to minidolls but if the set is good, minidolls won’t stop me buying it. So many friends sets are awesome even if I prefer normal minifigs with them.
In the meantime, cannot WAIT to see what they do with this set.
