LEGO have revealed a brand new set for families to show off their love of LEGO. Unfortunately they appear to have designed it exclusively for sad beige parents.
When I think of LEGO the two words that don’t come to mind are white and beige. LEGO is meant to be fun, colourful and exciting. 41839 Message Board is none of those things.
The set contains pieces to create 30 letters that you can combine to make your own messages. A fun idea in theory and I almost want to get it just to make rude signs.
If you are interested in this set it will be available from August. Australian RRP is $169.99. More details here.

So beige! It looks good for part though. But at that price not sure the value is there. Definitely aiming at richer AFOLs again.
On behalf of beige families everywhere, I applaud Lego for this great idea :).
Looks like it shouldn’t be too hard to change the background colours of the letters though, the plates look like standard parts.
The price though? Blimey. You’re paying $6 a letter. It’s almost like being back in the telgram generation where you had to convery maximum meaning with minimum characters ;).
